12月17日消息，据WebSideStory的数据显示，Firefox浏览器的市场份额略有提高，占领了美国近11%的浏览器软件市场。微软IE浏览器的市场份额则略有下滑。
据网络版《今日美国》报道称，12月7日，在运行Windows操作系统的计算机中，Firefox的比例高达10.7%，数周前的这一比例为9.84%;相比之下，IE浏览器的比例则由89.1%下跌为88.2%;其余的浏览器软件市场则由Opera等浏览器占领。
通常情况下，Firefox的市场份额会较高，因为许多企业的计算机只安装有IE浏览器，提高了IE的市场份额。
WebSideStory发现，IE7的普及率正在不断提高，截止到12月7日，它的市场份额达到了16.3%。微软在10月18日发布了IE7;Firefox2的市场份额为3.12%，它的发布时间为3.12%。二者相加，新版浏览器的市场份额占到了近20%。
