天极网10月22日(葛雅丽 编译)消息：近日，市场研究机构Jupiter称，企业应用Firefox形势看好，而IE7的推出则会促使更多的企业用户使用Firefox。
Jupiter称，有大量的企业允许员工下载使用Firefox。拥有员工250人或是更多员工的企业中，有44%的允许员工下载使用Firefox。而去年，这一数字是26%。Jupiter组织的分析师Joe Wilcox称:“这是一种巨大的飞跃，在短期内有更多的人使用Firefox。”
他指出，员工们发现，Firefox的标签浏览功能比IE6的功能更为实用。但随着IE7的推出，这种优势随之消失。但是，很少有企业在Vista推出之前会升级IE浏览器。
在XP系统的PC上安装IE7，用户需要经过安全测试，以评估其对商务应用软件的影响。因此，企业不愿在Vista推出之前升级IE6。
在办公室，员工们更喜欢使用Firefox，而不是IE。分析师称，Firefox的应用会进一步增长，但不会取代IE。今年10月，IE的占有率由86下降到了82%，而Firefox则由11.5%上升到了12.5%。(完)
