据法国互联网流量测评厂商XiTi公司发布的最新数据称，Mozilla Firefox 浏览器软件在欧洲的市场份额已经超过了20% 以上。
XiTi表示，芬兰的Firefox 用户比例最高，其次是斯洛文尼亚和德国，Firefox 在这三个国家的普及率分别为38% 、36% 、30%。英国的Firefox 用户比例最低，只有11%
。据XiTi称，20% 的普及率是从所有欧洲国家平均计算出来的。
据Mozilla 基金会欧洲分部的总裁特里斯坦称，但应当有所保留地对待XiTi的数字，因为Firefox 的使用总是在周末达到最高水平。
他在一篇评论XiTi发布数字的一篇博客文章中，我们应当强调的是，这些数据是在周日测量获得的，周日是Firefox 使用的最高峰，在一周内其它时间的使用则比较少，因为企业在使用新浏览器方面比较保守。
其它互联网流量测评公司则给出了更保守的Firefox 市场份额数字。去年11月份，OneStat.com 曾发布报告称Firefox 的全球市场份额为11.5% ，在英国的这一数字仅为4.9%。
