Firefox 3.0的首个Beta版本已经宣布延迟至少6周时间,Mozilla的工程师在周日确认了这个消息,这样一来我们在9月份之前看不到任何FireFox 3.0的公开测试版本.
周日,在一份mozilla.dev.planning group新闻组的Post中,Mozilla首席工程师Mike Schroepfer宣布了FireFox 3.0的开发状况,原定于7月31日发布的FireFox3.0最早将被延迟到9月18日发布.导致推迟的原因仍然是技术问题,最新的M7无法按计划成为Beta版本.因此计划加两个版本的测试时间以保证软件的稳定性和可用性.
目前尚不清楚这次延迟是否会影响FireFox整体的开发进程,Mozilla没有对FireFox 3.0的正式版本发布日期作评论.但社区普遍猜测可能要等到2008年我们才能看到FireFox 3.0版本.
