Firefox是一种Web浏览器，它的许多代码源于Mozilla浏览器，但比Mozilla浏览器更小、更快并在某些方面更安全。（Mozilla是Netscape浏览器的开放资源版本。）与Netscape及Internet Explorer（最常用的Web浏览器）相比，Firefox提供了更多改进和更快的效果。

被称为Thunderbird的邮件管理程序是可用的。这个浏览器有快速链接到Google搜索引擎的链接。改进的搜索系统允许用户使用多个搜索引擎来进行搜索。
